Senior Day Out

Council member Byron Amos is pleased to invite District 3 residents, ages 55 and older, to the District 3 Senior Day Out on Monday, October 21, 2025. This special day trip to Enon Ranch (3502 Enon Rd, Atlanta, GA 30349) is designed for seniors to enjoy relaxation, fellowship, and fun. Trunk or Treat

Byron Amos is also hosting the third Annual District 3 Trunk or Treat taking place on Thursday, October 31st, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hollis Innovation Academy (225 James P. Brawley Drive NW, Atlanta, GA 30314). In partnership with The Brothers of Exodus Lodge, this family-friendly event provides children with a safe and fun environment to go trick-or-treating, enjoy activities, and connect with the community.

Ride-to-Work with Bird + Atlanta Housing

Atlanta Housing has teamed up with Bird to make commuting more affordable for residents. Through the Ride-to-Work program, qualified residents can get 50% off Bird rides and additional discounts in select community zones. Plus, Bird is hiring for ambassador, maintenance, and street team roles — a great chance to earn while supporting sustainable transportation.

Beulah ATL Fall Coat Drive

As temperatures drop, Beulah ATL is helping neighbors stay warm with its annual Fall Coat Drive. Join them on Saturday, November 1, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Beulah Resource Center (167 Griffin St. NW). Donations of new coats are welcome through October 26 — it’s an easy way to make a real difference in the community. Mobility, warmth, and opportunity — it’s all happening right here in Atlanta. APS Free Drive-Up Food Distribution – Monthly

Atlanta Public Schools is supporting families through a monthly food distribution event held the last Monday of each month, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the APS Student & Family Support Hub (601 Dr. Thomas Cole Jr. Way SW). No sign-up needed — just drive up! More info here.
